My personal journey into yoga happened at a stage in my life when I was under a lot of stress in my marriage. I was raising a young family and also working part-time.
It all occurred by accident as I had been searching for a Tai Chi class as means to find some mental peace and relaxation outside the daily stresses and strains of my everyday existence. During my search, I come across a leaflet that had been handed to me about Kundalini yoga class at the local missionary center. I went to my first session
and was drawn in immediately. I floated out of the class with a tingly body and a clear, awakened mind. I felt more alive. I felt lighter and so much calmer.
Thirteen years forward, I now teach at home online, at a local studio, and at a community hall in West London.
